Good News
Shatrughan Sinha whose on-screen image of a villain had actually made him a hero in his native state Bihar. The Bollywood actor, who also made a foray in politics, is now positioning himself to take a fresh guard on Bihar’s political pitch. Sinha is the BJP candidate from the newly created Patna Saheb constituency.
Bad News
Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar did not approve Sinha's candidature and even put in a word in this connection to the central BJP leadership.
NDA allies not happy
The BJP central leadership may rate him high but the state assembly election of 2005 proved that election can be won without involving Sinha in the election campaign. In the 2005 state assembly elections, Sinha was seemingly cut up with Bihar NDA and he had refused to campaign for JD(U)-BJP candidates.
